Jo Wahl is an experienced healthcare leader with a demonstrated history of working in healthcare operations and the management consulting industry. Skilled in Healthcare Consulting, Nursing Leadership, Case Management, HIPAA, Patient Safety and Health Information Technology. She has served in many roles working in hospitals, ambulatory care centers and a national consulting firm.
Henry Ford Health System where she worked in various clinical, project management and leadership roles. She served as Chief Nursing Officer at two Henry Ford Hospitals from 2006–2016 where she was the administrative leader for and responsible for all nursing care provided in the inpatient and ambulatory campus sites, as well as ancillary clinical departments and services.During her tenure as a CNO, she also was Adjunct Clinical Faculty at Madonna University, College of Nursing and Health in Livonia Michigan, where she provided clinical supervision for students in the MSN/DNP programs including setting, observation and evaluation of student experiences within the Health Informatics curriculum.
Her consulting experience includes individual and corporate experience. In May 2010 she was invited by Aga Khan University Hospitals in Karachi, Pakistan and provided on site consultation as a member of a clinical team, in areas of Nursing Administration, organizational design, patient care models, clinical protocol development, and implementation of patient quality and safety infrastructure.Most recent consulting roles have been with Prism Healthcare Partners and BRG Prism where
